According to the importance of the communication and information technology productivity subject, this study is looking for evaluating of service-based business in communication and information technology firms. Service-based business consists of: value proposition, revenue mechanisms, value chain, value network, competitive strategy, target market, co-create with customers, competence and capability. By analyzing the managersʼ comments in ۲۶۸ communication and information technology firms data was analyzed by the statistical tests. Based on the results, the value network, value chain and income mechanism are in the best situation and ability, suitability and value proposition are in the worst situation.Keywords: service-based business, value proposition, co-create with customers, competitive strategy.
